One of the biggest scientific inventions is technology which is being applied on every step of managing disasters. Once, scientific concepts were unknown to the people and people used to describe various phenomena as acts of Gods only. Recently, even if people have their faith in the Lord Almighty, they have understood how science works and in many occasions, are completely dependent on science. Science plays a major role in each of the phases of emergency management because as the world is also changing; various risks and threats are also becoming more powerful day by day (Machlis, 2019 p. 103).
